Abub’s Lechon Packaging Design & Photography

We’re excited to share our collaboration with Abub’s Cebuana Lechon, one of the most loved lechon spots in the Philippines, known for serving up the ultimate crispy, flavorful lechon belly.

Abub’s reached out to Artzap Studio to design a custom packaging illustration for their signature Lechon Belly box — one that captures the spirit of Filipino celebrations.

In the Philippines, lechon is more than just a dish — it’s the centerpiece of every gathering. Our goal was to bring that festive, cultural energy to life through a bold and playful illustration inspired by a traditional Filipino fiesta.

Our process:

✔️ Concept Sketches — We started with black-and-white drafts to capture the scene and theme.

✔️ Digital Color Rendering — Once approved, we added vibrant colors to reflect the warmth and joy of Filipino feasts.

✔️ Food Photography — We also assisted with styled food photography using the new packaging, creating visuals perfect for Abub’s website and social media.

This project was a fun fusion of art and tradition, and we’re proud to have helped Abub’s Cebuana Lechon share their story in a more visual, culturally rooted way.
